Sultan Dukak;
Dukak (Arabic: دوقاق دمور یالیق and Turkmen: Dukak beg or Dukak Demir; person name: Dukak Temür Yalig) was the Oghuz chief and head of the Oghuz Yabguluk. He is the father of Selçuk Bey, the founder of the Seljuk Dynasty. He is also the great-grandfather of Tugrul, the founder of the Turkish state Great Seljuk Empire. "Dukak Temür Yalig" means "iron bow" or "iron bow" in Old Turkish.
Based on the fact that the arrow and bow were a sign of sovereignty in the Oghuz culture, the researchers, considering his nickname, think that Dukak is not an ordinary statesman, but a foreman. It is also known that the Turks living in the Caspian steppes called Dukak Temir Yalığ, which means iron bow. He is famous for his accurate judgments and sound advice, and his courage and agility. The khans of the Khazars, known as yabgu, do not give orders without consulting him on every matter that is important to their people. One day, by coincidence, the yabgu wanted to harm a group of Turks who had no crime.
When Dukak heard this, he went to the inn in anger and shouted at him in anger. He spoke too harshly, and the inn was angry about it. [Yabgu] drew a sword against Dukak and while he was shaking it left and right, the sword hit Dukak and blood started to flow. Dukak spewed fire and threw the mace [amûd] in his hand to the yabgu, and his head was split [yabgu] fell from the horse.
Dukak, the great-grandfather of Tuğrul, the founder of the Great Seljuk Empire, is also considered the great ancestor of the Seljuk lineage.
