Sultanşah (Kirman Seljuk melik)
Kerman Seljuk Sultan between 1074-1085 Kavurd, the founder of Kirman Seljuks, entered into a throne fight with Melikşah after Alparslan's death in 1072. Kavurd wanted to establish an army consisting of Turkmen in Hamedan. Before Kavurd went to Hamedan, he replaced his son Kirmanshah as deputy in Kirman. Melikşah won the war between Kavurd and Melikşah in 1073 and Kavurd was taken prisoner. Although Melikşah did not want to kill his uncle Kavurd, he had him killed by following Nizamülmülk's suggestion that he would cause trouble in the future. Upon the death of his father Kavurd, Kermanshah became the Kerman Seljuk Sultan.
One year later, Kermanshah, the Seljuk Sultan of Kirman, died, and Hussein, who was young, came to the throne first. A short time later, Sultanşah escaped from prison and ascended the throne (1074). The Great Seljuk Sultan Melikşah organized an expedition to the Kirman Seljuk State in 1085. Why Melikşah organized such an expedition is not fully stated in the sources. Melikşah encamped with a large army in front of Berdesir, the capital of the Kirman Seljuk State. Seeing that Melikşah set up a camp in front of Berdesir, Sultanşah closed herself in Berdesir. By means of orders, ambassadors came and went between Melikşah and Sultanşah, and it was ensured that Melikşah forgave Sultanşah. After these events, Sultanşah died in 1085 and was replaced by Turanşah.
